2008 - Our Year

I wrote my first check for the new year today, and surprisingly, putting 08 for the first time didn't seem that odd. I can remember other years it taking me several months to finally get the new year number right. This year 08 seems so natural. Ok I still can't quite handle the fact that we have been here in Kansas City for almost eight years now. But, I have been waiting for 08 because I think it could possibly be "our year." When I say "our year" I mean this could be the year we have all been waiting for. It could be another turning year for WRC, Steve Gray Ministries, The Network and our schools. This could be the year we again are launched from a local ministry to a national ministry again. It has happened before and we are praying it happens soon again. I think we are as ready as we can be. But if we are too ready, it wouldn't take any faith. What fun would that be and how does God get glory if we humans always "have it all together?"
Anyway, I hope you are as ready as you can be to forge ahead in the will of God this new year. It should be exciting.
