The Steve and Kathy Show Launched on Secular TV in Kansas City

Look out Kansas City..Here's Steve & Kathy! In a bold, brave move, Steve Gray, the creator and Executive Producer of Steve & Kathy is targeting the first truly secular audience by airing on KCTV Channel 5 in Kansas City.

Starting Saturday, July 1 at a delayed time of 1:00 AM immediately following the hugely popular CSI series on CBS, Steve & Kathy will air over the Greater Kansas City area covering over 25 counties, going as far west as Lawrence, Kansas and east to Sedalia.

The successful show is proving to be a bridge to people who have typically been uneducated in the true Gospel or un-interested in walking through most church doors. As one viewer quickly confirmed, "There are thousands of people just like that. This show is just what is needed."

Steve & Kathy is geared to grab the hearts of un-churched people in a format they can relate to. Its humor is meant to warm them up to hearing the real Gospel about Jesus Christ and the kind of life they are meant to live. If people find themselves saying, "Now that is the kind of church I could attend," then the creators, producers and media team will have done their job.

Steve & Kathy will fill their normal time slot July 15 at 12:30 (after midnight) on Saturday evenings following back to back airings of CSI. The first two episodes will be delayed due to programming specials.

"It is the first available late-night slot we could offer, and we are so glad to see a unique show like this coming to KCTV," said a spokesman for Channel 5.
