Transported Back in Time

I have just finished reading through some political and spiritual views concerning Iran and Russia and the future of the United States and Israel. To me, it feels like I have been transported back in time to the late 1930's and am reading all over again the movements of the Nazi Party and Adolph Hitler. Like then, it appears to me as though a worldwide confrontation is inevitable. Of course, I know that with God all things are possible and the course of the world can be altered at any moment according to His will. However, according to the Bible, the course of the world was to be altered by His Church as the light of the world until Jesus returns. So, let's see, let's overview the status of the Church in the world.

One church is preaching "Shrek-ology." "Shrek-ology is when a church uses the character from the movie Shrek, (Shrek the Ogre, Donkey, Princess Fiona, Puss in Boots) to analyze our personality types, (in Christ???) Or what about churches that sing only U2 songs for worship and communion? Or what about the church that fills the entire front of the church with sand and palm trees, welcoming people to paradise?

The Church worldwide is now so out of the touch with the Light that it has become irrelevant to the real world.

Here I am along with some of you, stuck in the middle of it all. It is becoming obviously and painfully clear, that if we are ever going to save the world, we must first fix the church. I think that is what The Steve & Kathy Show and all the ministries we do are all about.
